ISLAMABAD: According to a Gilani Research Foundation Survey carried out by Gallup Pakistan, 51% Pakistanis believe that Imran Khan and Reham Khan’s divorce discussions on the media are not justified.
A nationally representative sample of men and women from across the four provinces was asked, “Some people are of the opinion that Imran Khan and Reham Khan’s divorce is their personal matter and there should be no discussion on this on the media.
Others say that it is very difficult to draw a distinction between Imran Khan’s personal and political life. Therefore there is no harm in having discussions related to this on the media. What is your opinion?” In response to this question, 51% said that a discussion on this on the media is not justified while 49% said that discussion on the media is justified.
The study was released by Gilani Research Foundation and carried out by Gallup Pakistan, the Pakistani affiliate of Gallup International. The recent survey was carried out among a sample of 1526 men and women in rural and urban areas of all four provinces of the country, during November 09 – November 16, 2015. Error margin is estimated to be approximately Â± 2-3 per cent at 95% confidence level.
