Opinion Poll: (53% Pakistanis claim to have done something the previous day of which they are proud: Survey)

ISLAMABAD: According to a Gilani Research Foundation Survey carried out by Gallup Pakistan, respondents were asked for their views regarding their previous day. 53% Pakistanis claimed to have done something the previous day before of which they are proud.

A nationally representative sample of working men and women from across the four provinces was asked, “Think about yesterday from beginning to end.

Where were you and what were you doing? Who was with you and how were you feeling at that time?

Now give your opinion on the following: Did you do anything yesterday that made you feel proud?” In response to this question, 53% said yes while 38% said no and 9% did not respond.

The study was released by Gilani Research Foundation and carried out by Gallup Pakistan, the Pakistani affiliate of Gallup International.

The recent survey was carried out among a sample of 1786 men and women in rural and urban areas of all four provinces of the country, during October 05 – October 12, 2015. Error margin is estimated to be approximately ± 2-3 per cent at 95% confidence level.
