Opinion Poll: (60 %Pakistanis believe that there are fewer parks in their city than needed: Survey)

ISLAMABAD: According to a Gilani Research Foundation Survey carried out by Gallup Pakistan, 60% Pakistanis believe that there are not enough parks in their city.

A nationally representative sample of adult men and women, from across the four provinces was asked, “In your opinion are there enough parks in your city as needed?” In response, 60% of the respondents said that there fewer parks in their city than needed while 35% said that there are enough parks according to need. 5% did not respond.

The study was released by Gilani Research Foundation and carried out by Gallup Pakistan, the Pakistani affiliate of Gallup International. The recent survey was carried out among a sample of 1899 men and women in rural and urban areas of all four provinces of the country, during June 22 – June 29, 2015. Error margin is estimated to be approximately ± 2-3 per cent at 95% confidence level.
