ISLAMABAD: According to a Gilani Research Foundation Survey carried out by Gallup Pakistan, respondents were asked for their views regarding their previous day. 65% Pakistanis claimed to have spent the previous day with a pleasant attitude.
A nationally representative sample of working men and women from across the four provinces was asked, “Think about yesterday from beginning to end.
Where were you and what were you doing? Who was with you and how were you feeling at that time? Now give your opinion on the following: Did you have a pleasant attitude yesterday?” In response to this question, 65% said yes while 26% said no and 9% did not respond.
According to the gender breakdown, a greater number of males (67%) than females (63%) said that they had spent the previous day with a pleasant attitude. Likewise fewer number of males (25%) than female respondents (27%) said that they did not spend the previous day with a pleasant attitude.
The study was released by Gilani Research Foundation and carried out by Gallup Pakistan, the Pakistani affiliate of Gallup International.
The recent survey was carried out among a sample of 1786 men and women in rural and urban areas of all four provinces of the country, during October 05 – October 12, 2015. Error margin is estimated to be approximately ± 2-3 per cent at 95% confidence level.
