ISLAMABAD: According to a Gilani Research Foundation Survey carried out by Gallup Pakistan, 39% Pakistanis believe that Muslims should wish Christians on Christmas.
A nationally representative sample of men and women from across the four provinces was asked, Some people think that Muslims should wish Christians on Christmas while others believe that this is not good.
Some others however, believe that this does not make any difference. What is your opinion? In response to this question 39% said Muslims should wish, 29% said they should not wish and another 29% said this does not make any difference. 3% did not respond.
The study was released by Gilani Research Foundation and carried out by Gallup Pakistan, the Pakistani affiliate of Gallup International. The recent survey was carried out among a sample of 1883 men and women in rural and urban areas of all four provinces of the country, during January 04 – January 11, 2016. Error margin is estimated to be approximately Â± 2-3 per cent at 95% confidence level.
