Pak bowlers gear up to compete in Russian Open

Karachi: Pakistani bowlers will be seen in action during the Russian Open, which will be held from September 9 to 13 in Saint Petersburg.

Pakistan Tenpin Bowling Federation (PTBF) Secretary General Ijaz Ur Rehman said that bowlers from many countries would participate in this mega event.

Pakistan will be represented by a four-member team, which consists of Ijaz-ur-Rehman, Ahmer Abbas Saldera, Zafar Iqbal and Ali Suria.

Ijaz added that Pakistan’s chances of performing well in the tournament were bright as these in the past have put great performances in international tournaments.

“Our bowlers are fully prepared for the mega event. We are hopeful that our players will perform well and attain respectable positions in all categories they participate in,” he said.
