Pakistan disable cricket team returns from Dhaka

Karachi: Pakistan disabled cricket team returned home from Dhaka on Sunday after having featured in Five-Nation ICRC International Cricket Tournament for People with Physical Disabilities, where they reached the final of the tournament.

Speaking to media here at National Stadium, skipper Hasnain Alam said that reaching the final of the inaugural tournament in Bangladesh was a big achievement for his team and they were now pepped up and hopeful for better show in future tournaments.

Team Manager Amir Uddin Ansari lauded the players for maintaining exemplary discipline in their ranks. He said that Fayyaz Ahmed, Rehan Ghani Mirza, Nihaar Alam and Captain Hussain Alam played impressively.

But overall the credit goes to the whole team and coaches Zafar Iqbal and Mohammad Javed, he added.

He thanked Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) for its support to PDCA.
