Pakistan junior team for Sri Lankan tour announced

Karachi: Four-member junior selection committee headed by Basit Ali has announced Pakistan Under-19 squad for the tour to Sri Lanka on Tuesday. Pakistan team is scheduled to play two three-day and five one-day matches against Sri Lanka U-19. The team will leave for Sri Lanka on October 1 and would be playing their last match on October 25.

Ali Zia, Ali Naqvi and Farrukh Zaman are members of the selection committee.

The team has been approved by Chairman PCB Shaharyar Mohammad Khan.

“The Under-19 squad consists of 16 players. It will form the nucleus of our team for the ICC World Cup next year, hence the extra players”, said Chairman PCB.
