Pakistan, Turkmenistan to enhance bilateral cooperation

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan and Turkmenistan have agreed to enhance bilateral cooperation in the field of petroleum, trade, infrastructure and industries.

This was stated by the Minister of State for Petroleum and Natural Resources Jam Kamal, who met President of Turkmenistan in Ashgabat on Sunday.

He said consensus to this effect came during a meeting between him and the President of Turkmenistan in Ashgabat. He said both sides agreed to complete the proposed TAPI gas pipeline according to the schedule.

The minister also conveyed a message of good-will of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to the Turkmenistan President.
