Pakistan’s liquid foreign reserve reaches $18,497 million

KARACHI: State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) on Thursday announced that Pakistan’s total liquid foreign reserves stood at US$18,497.0 million on 28 August 2015.

The break-up of the foreign reserves position is as under: foreign reserves held by the State Bank of Pakistan stood US$ 13,460.5 million; net foreign reserves held by banks recorded at US$5,036.5 million, while total liquid foreign reserves reached US$18,497.0 million

During the week ending 28 August2015, SBP’s Liquid FX Reserves increased by US$3 million to US$13,461 million, compared to US$13,458 million in the previous week.
