Karachi: President Pakistan Paramedical Staff Association (PPMSA) Sindh Niaz Hussain Bhutto on Monday gave a 15-days time to Medical Superintendent (MS) Civil Hospital Karachi to fulfill the genuine demands of paramedical staff, otherwise PPMSA would launch massive protest drive against him and other administrative officials across Sindh province.
In his statement, Bhutto said hospital affairs had reached verge of collapse and patients had been compelled to buy medicines from private medical stores despite the allocation million of rupees funds for drugs annually.
He said kidnapping of children and thefts had become routine matter in hospital while private security company guards had failed to provide protection to visiting patients.
He said if the genuine demands of paramedical staff could not be accepted within 15 days, then PPMSA would launch protest across the province .
He demanded of the Sindh government, Chief Secretary Sindh, Health Minister and Secretary Health to appoint honest and eligible person on MS seat.
