PCG seizes 2kg heroin

KARACHI: Pakistan Coast Guards (PCG) officials on Tuesday seized two kilograms of fine quality heroin at Naka Khari check post on Regional Cooperation for Development (RCD) Highway near Winder (Balochistan).

According to a press release during checking of a public bus, PCG officials recovered two kgs of heroin from a passenger’s bag. The public bus was moving from Quetta to Karachi. After complete search the bus was released being a public carrier. The drug trafficker along with heroin was taken under custody. Approx value of the heroin in international market is eight million rupees.

Further investigation and legal process is under way.
