People started migration toward safer places from NWA

Peshawar:,,, After relaxation of curfew in Mirali and Miranshah area, people have started migration toward safer places from North Waziristan Agency while on the other hand security forces continued its targeted operation with the help of artillery gun and gunship helicopters.

Local sources said that there was relaxation in one sided curfew from North Waziristan agency to Bannu as people has started preparation for migration to safer places.

According to this correspondent people were collecting their belonging and food stuff to shift Bannu and other settle areas bordering North Waziristan Agency.

During last night offensive security forces targeted Degan and Machas camp areas of the agency. Security forces has claimed killing of five more militants and injuring seven others.

Government offices and Bazara remained closed as people feared owing to intense firing of artillery gun. On the third day of operation curfew was relaxed aimed to give time to the people to vacate the area. The curfew relaxed from morning to 5:00 pm however after this the curfew was clamped once again to restrict the movement of the militants.

It is pertinent to mentioned that in the last three days crackdown of security forces, more than 70 militants have been killed while dozen of their hideouts have been demolished with the help of gunship helicopters and jet fighters.

Meanwhile PTI provincial information secretary who is also MNA from Waziristan agency said that operation is not the solution of any problem and government must continue its dialogue process with Taliban groups.

She added that both the parties must announced ceasefire and take serous steps for resuming the dialogue process. She was talking to elders of North Waziristan Agency. She said that federal government policy on dialogue was not clear and serious and establishment of peace should have been the top priority of the government.

She regretted over the military offensive in North Waziristan Agency as she said that operation was not the solution of any problem. She said that it was responsibility of the civilian government to appraise the masses about any operation as common people have been killed and injured in the operation.

She said that despite APC mandate to Prime Minister, he gave green signal for military operation, adding that the country lacks true leadership and Prime Minister instead of foreign visits should focus on the country issues.

She maintained that the country is heading toward civil war and this war would have been far reaching effects on Pashtoon soil. She said that so far 500 families have been migrated to Afghanistan due the military operation.
