Peshawar: KP Chief Minister Pervez Khattak has heartiestly thanked Pak Army, Chief Minister Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah and Sindh govt for best cooperation in transportation of the dead bodies of Khairpur road accident to Swat.
It is worth mentioning that following the directives of the KP Chief Minister Pervez Khattak, his Principal Secretary Muhamad Ishfaq Khan, Commissioner Malakand Afsar Khan and Deputy Commissioner Swat Mehmood Aslam contacted Pak Army JOC Sukkar and other authorities as well as the govt of Sindh to help in dispatching the 58 dead bodies to their concerned destinations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa viz Swat.
Upon it a C-130 transport plane was arranged at Sukkar airport immediately. It was decided that the dead bodies along-with the relatives and attendants would be airlifted to Risalpur base by C-130 from where Pak army would arrange helicopters to airlift them to Swat. While the Swat district administration would then take these dead bodies to their respective villages in ambulances that would be standby there.
Pervez Khattak also thanked the Sindh govt and Pak Army on adequate treatment arrangements for the injured of the accident in Khairpur. He further directed the Swat administration to make sufficient arrangements for the burial of the dead bodies in their respective areas.
Meanwhile the Chief Minister expressed his heartfelt grief and sorrow over the tragic accident of Swat to Karachi bound passenger bus occurred at Thetri bypass in Khairpur district in Sindh province.
He soon after listening about the bad news asked the Malakand division and Swat district administrations to immediately contact the district administration of Khairpur to coordinate in the rescue activities and treatment of injured as well as making certain arrangements of taking the dead bodies to their homes. He however prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and early recovery of the injured as well as expressed deep sympathies with affected and aggrieved families.
In the meantime, Deputy Commissioner Swat Mehmood Aslam revealed that following special instructions of KP Chief Minister, hectic efforts were being made to arrange helicopter or aero-plane for airlifting the dead bodies to swat from Khairpur as he said that the affected families were concerned about their dead and injured kith and kens.
He said a responsible officer has been deputed to satisfy the affected families and make sufficient arrangements in this regard. MPA from Swat and Advisor to Chief Minister on livestock MohibUllah Khan has also expressed deep sympathies with the affected families on this tragedy.
