Physical Handicapped Sportsmen appreciates the government for organizing the first Governor Fata Youth Festival

Peshawar: Physical Handicapped Sportsmen have appreciated the government for organizing the first Governor Fata Youth Festival, and demanding to take more steps for promotion of sports activities in Federally Administered Tribal Areas (Fata).

Speaking at a press conference at press club on Monday, Fata Disabled Team Manager, Haji Akbar Shinwari said that Directorate of Sports Fata had made appropriate arrangements for organizing the first-ever Governor Fata Youth Festival, which is positive move to promote healthy sports activities for tribal youth.

Flanked by international special persons players, Syed Sher Ali Afridi, and Asad Shinwari, he extended special gratitude to Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Mahtab Ahmad Khan, Director Sports Fata Taib Abdullah, Assistant Director Sports Daftar Khan, Fata Olympic Association Senior Vice President Saiful Islam Afridi, and General Secretary Shahid Shinwari for ensuring participation of special persons in the Fata youth festival.

Akbar Shinwari said the Fata sportsmen, particular special persons, have played vital role for development of soft-image of Federally Administered Tribal Areas, through their skills.

He demanded government to arrange more such events to enable Fata sportsmen to participate in local and international sports games and programs. He informed the Special Persons players, had already participated in world sports events on several occasions.
