PIA: (Miftah dispels impression of selling out PIA)

ISLAMABAD: The Chairman, Board of Investment (BoI), Miftah Ismail has dispelled the impression that the government is going to sell out Pakistan International Airline.

In an interview, he said only twenty-six percent shares of the national flag carrier will be sold out, and strategic investment will be made. He said the government intends to run the organization through public-private partnership, which will increase its working capacity.

Miftah Ismail assured that no employee of PIA will be terminated from service nor will salary of an official be reduced.
