Islamabad: Prime Minister Mohammad Nawaz Sharif has said the government is taking all steps necessary to ensure development of Balochistan and to uplift the standard of living of its people.
He said this while talking to PML-N Balochistan President and Senior Minister Balochistan, Mr. Sana Ullah Zehri who called on him at the PM House here on Thursday.
The Prime Minister said the government’s topmost priority is to bring a qualitative change in the life of the people of Balochistan.
He said China Pakistan Economic Corridor would open new avenues and increased job opportunities for the people of Balochistan.
Political situation in the country and organizational matters of PML-N also came under discussion during the meeting.
The Prime Minister asked Mr. Zehri to keep close contact with party workers and consult them on all party matters.
He said workers are a great asset and pride for the party and the PML-N leadership acknowledges their innumerable sacrifices for the cause of democracy and for upholding of rule of law in the country.
Federal Minister for Railways, Khawaja Saad Rafique and Political Secretary to PM, Dr. Asif Kirmani were also present during the meeting.
