PM: (High level meeting reviews security situation)

ISLAMABAD: A high level meeting with Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif in the chair here on Tuesday reviewed the security situation.

Advisor on the National Security Lieutenant General (r) Nasir Khan Janjua gave briefing on the meeting with Indian National Security Advisor and Foreign Secretary in Bagkok last week.

The meeting also discussed upcoming visit of Afghan President Ashraf Ghani to Pakistan and agenda of Heart of Asia conference. Among others, the meeting was attended by Finance Minister Ishaq Dar, Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan, Advisor on the Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister Tariq Fatemi, and Army Chief General Raheel Sharif. Later, Prime Minister and the Army Chief also held a separate meeting. They discussed security situation in the country.
