Islamabad: MQM leader Dr. Farooq Sattar has said that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif intends to resolve the current political crisis in an amicable way.
Talking to media after meeting the Prime Minister with an MQM delegation in Islamabad on Wednesday, he said the Prime Minister heard the proposals of the delegation open heartedly.
Farooq Sattar said we have proposed that a high level delegation from PML-N should also meet to the leadership of Awami Tehrik to resolve the issue through dialogue.
He said it is our sincere effort to bring the issue to its logical end. He appealed both the government and agitating parties to show flexibility in their attitude to steer the country out of crisis.
MQM delegation was led by Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, while the other members include Dr. Farooq Sattar, Babar Ghouri and Haider Abbas Rizvi.
