PM, Iranian supreme leader discuss bilateral relations

Islamabad: Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif held a meeting with the Supreme Leader of Iran Syed Ali Ayatollah Khamenei in Tehran on Monday and discussed issues of bilateral interest.

The Prime Minister termed Pakistan- Iran ties as special in nature because of common traditions and historical perspectives. The Supreme Leader said people of Pakistan are as dear to him as the people of Iran.

He expressed the hope that the visit of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif would further boost bilateral relations between the two countries.

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has arrived in Mashhad.  Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif visited shrine of Imam Ali Raza in Mashhad.  He also participated in the Langar of at Shrine.
