PM leaves for Belarus today

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif will leave for Minsk today (Monday) at the invitation of Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko.

It will be the first ever visit of a Pakistani Prime Minister to Belarus. The Prime Minister will meet Belarusian President and Prime Minister. Important agreements and MoUs between the two countries will also be signed.

The Prime Minister will participate in Pakistan-Belarus Business and Investment Forum. Meanwhile, Minister for Defence Production Rana Tanveer on Sunday said the Prime Minister’s visit to Belarus will start a new era of relations between the two countries.

He said both the countries desire strong relations. He said Pakistan will take full advantage of agriculture and defence technology of Belarus.
