PM meets PML-N applicants for Senate elections

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Mohammad Nawaz Sharif met PML-N applicants for the upcoming Senate elections at the Punjab House here on Monday.

Members of the central parliamentary board including Mohammad Ishaq Dar, Raja Zafar ul haq, Iqbal Zafar Jhagra, Pervaiz Rashid, Khawaja Saad Rafique, Sardar Mehtab Ahmed Khan, Shahbaz Sharif, Pir Sabir Shah, Ismail Rahu, Sardar Sanaullah Zehri, Sardar Yaqoob Khan Nasir, Dr. Asif Kirmani and Mrs Nuzhat Sadiq, were also present on the occasion.

Expressing his views on the occasion, the Prime Minister said that PML-N has the honour of having the maximum number of applications for the Senate elections. He thanked all the applicants for reposing confidence in the party and its reform agenda.

The Prime Minister said that all the applicants are men and women of exceptional qualities and even those who do not get ticket should continue to work for strengthening the party as well as the democratic system in the country.
