PM: (Pakistan, Kazakhstan agree to enhance bilateral cooperation)

ISLAMABAD: Foreign Minister of Kazakhstan Erlan Idrissov called on Prime Minister Mohammad Nawaz Sharif in Astana on Tuesday. During the meeting, they agreed to enhance trade and economic cooperation between Pakistan and Kazakhstan. The two sides also exchanged views on regional and international issues of mutual interests.

The Prime Minister said that Pakistan accords high priority to its deep historical and cultural bonds with the central Asian region while Pakistan is committed to expand cooperative relations with Kazakhstan.

Kazakhstan’s Foreign Minister said that the relation between Pakistan and Kazakhstan will further be improved due to the visit of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.

Prime Minister Mohammad Nawaz Sharif reached in Kazakhstan on a two day official visit. During the visit to Astana, the Prime Minister will hold meetings with President Nursultan Abishevich Nazarbayev and Prime Minister Karim Massimov. A number of Agreements and MoUs are expected to be signed during the visit.
