PM: (PM chairs meeting on agenda of Heart of Asia conference)

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Tuesday chaired a high-level meeting to discuss the agenda of the Heart of Asia conference, being held in the capital today (Wednesday).

The meeting was attended by Minister for Finance and Economic Affairs Senator Ishaq Dar, Minister for Interior Affairs Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan, Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif, National Security Adviser Nasir Janjua, Adviser on Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz and Special Assistant on Foreign Affairs Tariq Fatemi.

The meeting discussed the matters related to the Hearts of Asia conference and also the upcoming visit of Afghan President Ashraf Ghani, India’s External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj and other officials who are due to attend the conference.

Janjua briefed the meeting about the progress made at the adviser-level talks between Pakistan and India held in Bangkok on late Sunday.
