PM: (PM lauds Turkish President’s contribution to expanding Pak-Turkey ties)

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has said that there are vast opportunities of expanding trade ties between Pakistan and Turkey.

He was talking to Turkish President, Recep Tayyip Erdogan during a meeting at Nur Khan Airbase Islamabad, during Erdogan’s stop-over on his way back from Indonesia on Saturday night.

The Prime Minister appreciated Turkish technical participation in various development projects in the last few years. He appreciated the personal contribution of the Turkish President to the growth and expansion of Pak-Turkey relations.

The Turkish President expressed the hope that mutual cooperation between the two countries shall increase in future.

The Prime Minister also hosted a banquet in honour of the Turkish President before his departure. After a brief stopover in Islamabad on his way back from Indonesia, the Turkish President left for his country. The Prime Minister and the cabinet members saw him off.
