PM: (PM meets Balochistan leaders)

ISLAMABAD: Speaker Balochistan Assembly Mir Jan Jamali, PML-N leader and former Senator Lashkari Raisani and Balochistan Minister for Excise, Taxation, Revenue and Transport Shaikh Jafar Khan Mandokhel separately called on Prime Minister Mohammad Nawaz Sharif at Governor House, Quetta on Thursday.

Matters related to the province of Balochistan as well as overall political situation came under discussion during the meetings. The Prime Minister said that government is taking steps to bring Balochistan at par with other parts of the country.

He said the government is committed to uprooting the menace of terrorism from the country and is taking all steps necessary in this regard.

The Prime Minister said it is heartening to note that the National Action Plan to counter terrorism and extremism, which is being implemented in all parts of the country has the backing of entire political spectrum of the country. Federal Minister for Railways, Khawaja Saad Rafiq was also present during the meetings.
