PM: (Qatari delegation meets PM)

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Mohammad Nawaz Sharif on Tuesday told a group of visiting Qatari dignitaries that Pakistan is fast emerging on the map as a country with strong macro-economic indicators.

‘We are putting in place a robust economic framework to steer Pakistan to the group of top progressing nations in the next decade’, said the PM. He asked the visiting Qatari delegation to invest in the highly profitable hydro-power sector of Pakistan, which offers tremendous investment opportunities.

The brotherly relations between the two countries will be strengthened by increased economic relations, the Prime Minister said. Members of the delegation informed that Pakistan is a different country under the present government and the Prime Minister’s leadership has generated great interest in the international investor’s community due to absolute transparency and investor-friendly policies. We are exploring opportunities of investment in various sectors in Pakistan and have received support from everyone.
