PM (World leaders hail Pakistan’s progress on economic front: PM)

Davos: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has said that the world leaders hold positive opinion about Pakistan because of its progress on economic front.

Talking to media on Saturday, before leaving for Geneva, he said the presence at the World Economic Forum provided him the opportunity to interact with the world political and business leaders and apprise them of Pakistan’s economic successes.

To a question, Nawaz Sharif said his government is pursuing a progressive and forward looking agenda as per the vision of the founder of Pakistan, Quaid-e-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah.

It is in this context that women are being encouraged to take active part in the country’s progress and development.

He said women have been given reasonable representation in parliament besides other schemes for them. He pointed out that under the Youth Loan Scheme; fifty percent loans are being given to women.
