PN set to conduct Exercise “TAHAFFUZ-E-SAHIL’ off Gwadar Port

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Navy is all set to conduct coastal security exercise “TAHAFFUZ-E-SAHIL” off Gwadar, in collaboration with other maritime stakeholders/law enforcement agencies.

The desired socio-economic benefits of Gwadar port and associated China – Pak Economic Corridor (CPEC) would only be possible by providing a safe and secure environment not only in Gwadar port but in the adjoining sea areas.

Exercise “TAHAFFUZ-E-SAHIL” will therefore focus on developing a synergetic response by all stakeholders against threats of maritime terrorism thereby ensuring smooth conduct of economic activities.
