PN’s special children bring accolades back home

Karachi: Special children from Pakistan Navy schools have proven their mettle at the International arena with their sparkling performance at the Special Olympics 2015 held at Los Angeles, USA.

Saira Ikram of PN’s Special Children School Mauripur, Karachi has won the Silver Medal in the 100 meters race/category, Amna Irshad of PN Special Children School, KARSAZ, Karachi won Silver Medal in Long Jump and Mohammad Saqab Wasim of PN Special Children School, Islamabad won Bronze Medal in Long Jump.

Besides winning the medals, these Special Children of Pakistan Navy also won distinctions in various competitions. Saira Ikram stood fourth and fifth in the 4 X 100 meters Relay Race and 200 meters Race respectively, Amna Irshad stood 2nd in Long Jump whereas, Mohammad Saqab Wasim stood fourth in 100 meters as well as in 4 X 100 meters Relay Race.
