Police claim killing two gangsters

KARACHI: Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Sher Shah Qamar-uz-Zaman claimed on Thursday that police had killed gangsters in an encounter in Mauripur. He said that two Lyari gangsters Azeem alias Charsi, and Qadir alias Kalo Current, were killed in an encounter with police in Mauripur area of the city while one of their accomplice managed to flee.

Zaman said that accused were involved in several activities of target killing, murder attempts, extortion cases and robberies.

He said that uniforms of security guards, six mobile phones, ATM cards of different banks and weapons were also recovered from killed accused.
