Police fail to recover missing boy

LARKANA: Police have failed to recover Rehan, a 12-year-old nephew of Sindh High Court Judge, Justice Aftab Ahmed Gorar, who was suspected to be abducted on February 26 from Lahori Mohalla of the city.

His father told reporters media here on Monday that his son left home for a nearby madressah to study Holy Quran but did not return back home and after passage of 12 days suspicion has been converted into sure that he has been kidnapped.

He said that he had no enmity with anyone, adding that he had also searched his son at the houses of all the relatives but could not trace him. He further said that police had arrested some people at their own for investigation but nothing has so far come out. SSP Kamran Nawaz to reporters that police had picked up 12 suspects and after initial investigation, released five of them while seven people were still under probe. He said that it was not the issue of kidnapping but the boy had disappeared and three police officers were working his search.
