Police kill 2 alleged criminals near Nawabshah

NAWABSHAH: Two notorious criminals were killed in a shootout with police while three criminals escaped near Bandhi, district Nawabshah here on Tuesday.

As per the details, Tooh Khaskheli, and Achar alias Atta Mohammad Khaskheli were killed in encounter with Nawabshah Police when the police raided their hideouts where they started firing on them. During retaliatory firing of police they were killed while three of their group members successfully escaped from the spot.

The operation team was led by SSP Pervaiz Umrani and carried out action against criminals who were involved many attacks on police and on railway track near Bandhi.

However, Police claimed that they recovered heavy weapons and some looted articles including two rifles and a G-3.

On the other hand, IGP Ghulam Hyder Jamali announced cash prize of Rs0.5mn for police team who took part in the successful operation against wanted criminals.
