Islamabad: Opposition leader in the National Assembly, Khursheed Shah said on Tuesday that political parties were trying to hold dialogue with Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan and Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) chief Dr Tahirul Qadri.
Talking to media men outside parliament, Shah said that political parties had not been able to reach Khan and Qadri but were trying to hold a meeting by 3:00 PM. “We will wait for a message to meet from Imran Khan and Tahirul Qadri.” Shah stressed that political parties wanted to save politics from a confrontation and were determined to safeguard democracy. The opposition leader added that Imran Khan should review his decision to march to the red zone and respect the written agreement with the interior minister.
