Possible cyclone, KKF directed to be alert

KARACHI: The MQM Coordination Committee has moved the volunteers of Khidmat-e-Khalq Foundation (KKF) to carry out rescue work prior to the hitting of typhoon Nilofer on the bank of Arabian Sea in Karachi.

In a meeting, members of Coordination Committee and Khidmat-e-Khalq Foundation reviewed the possible situation after the typhoon hit Karachi. It directed KKF to impose emergency in Nazir Hussain Hospital, Khursheed Begum Welfare dispensaries and other health facility centres and KKF ambulance should be at a stand by position.
