PPP supports CNG transporters

KARACHI: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Sindh chapter General Secretary Senator Taj Haider said the PPP would not leave the labourers and daily wagers alone in their fight for their just rights for maintaining their bread and butter means. The PPP fully endorse the just demands of the owners and drivers of the CNG auto rickshaws.

This he said in a meeting with a representative delegation of the All Karachi CNG Auto Rickshaw Owners welfare Association led by Adnan Shah, the General secretary of the association.

Senator Haider said that the CNG auth rickshaws are a cheaper source of passenger transport and approximately 35000 people are directly linked to this business.

On the occasion, All Karachi CNG Auto Rickshaw Owners welfare Association General secretary Adnan Shah informed the Senator Haider that the Sindh High Court has imposed ban on Quingi motorcycle rickshaws but the Traffic police are hunting the CNG transport and imposing heavy fine and even that the CNG rickshaws are often taken in custody.
