PPP to lure millions in Lahore convention: Shah

THATTA: Chief Minister Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah said on Monday that Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) would celebrate its foundation day on 30 November 2014 by holding a convention in Lahore in which millions of people would participate from whole the country where PPP leaders would openly talk about the current situation of the country.

He was talking to media before the party leaders and workers of district Sajawal and Thatta in Makkli Gymkhana. He said PPP had rendered unprecedented sacrifices for the democracy, therefore they would not allow any one to derail democracy at any cost.

Replying to a question, the chief minister said their government had provided foolproof security to Imran Khan for holding public meeting in Larkana and also instructed Inspector General of Sindh (IGP) and party activists in this regard, but according to his expectations, low quantity of people participated in the public meeting. He said PPP would lure millions of people on 30 November in Lahore.
