PPP (Zardari condemns terror attack on polio eradication office in Quetta)

Islamabad: President Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarians former President Asif Ali Zardari has condemned the attack on anti-polio office in Quetta killing 12 policemen and two civilian as well as injuring many more. These policemen were deputed for security of anti-polio teams for immunization drive.

In a condolence message the former President said that the ultimate sacrifice rendered by policemen in Quetta gives courage to the nation to fight terrorism and extremism with a renewed resole.

He said that these men have become immortal as they were on duty to save our coming generations from crippling disease of polio. Their sacrifices will not go in vain and will further strengthen nation’s resolve to fight menace of terrorism to the finish.

The nation salutes its brave police officials who have shed their blood so that the nation lives in peace. They are the true heroes and heroines of the nation and we salute their valour, courage and sacrifice.

He also prayed for eternal rest to the souls of martyrs and patience to the members of the bereaved families to bear this irreparable loss with fortitude.
