President: (Armed Forces valiantly countering terrorism: President)

ISLAMABAD: President Mamnoon Hussain has said that the nation and its armed forces will not rest till complete elimination of terrorists and their facilitators.

He was addressing the second convocation of Bachelor of Military Art and Science at NUST here on Wednesday. Mamnoon Hussain pointed out that our region has been facing conflicts over the last many decades which also have badly affected Pakistan.

He said terrorism has inflicted heavy losses to the country. However, the armed forces are valiantly countering the menace and have achieved major successes to rid the country of terrorism.

He said the nation and the armed forces through its firm and unwavering resolve have displayed the capability to meet any external or internal threat.

The President expressed the confidence that defence related courses will help the personnel of our armed forces to confront the challenges in an effective manner.

About China Pakistan Economic Corridor project, the President categorically stated that no change has been made in the original route of this mega project. He said the people should full back the government in completion of this national project. Earlier, the President gave away degrees amongst the outstanding graduating army officers.
