President: (President, Chinese FM discuss bilateral ties)

ISLAMABAD: President Mamnoon Hussain on Thursday said that Pakistan is carrying out a comprehensive operation against all terrorists. He expressed these remarks during his meeting with Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi who called on him in here on Thursday.

The President said that Operation Zarb-e-Azb has yielded positive results. He said Pakistani nation awaits to receive Chinese President Xi Jinping. He said the government is ensuring foolproof security of Chinese workers in Pakistan, which it considers as its top priority.

Wang Yi on this occasion said both Pakistan and China have been keeping a close eye on evolving situation in the region. He said strategic partnership and economic cooperation between the two countries would enhance in coming days.

Meanwhile, President Mamnoon Hussain has conferred Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi with Hilal-e-Pakistan at an impressive ceremony in Islamabad. The President conferred this award on Wang Yi for his valuable role and services towards further strengthening Pakistan-China bonds.
