Prime Minister says peace to be restored in Karachi

Karachi: Prime Minister of Pakistan Mian Mohammad Nawaz Sharif has said that the process to give Karachi peace would not be left unfinished.

Addressing a program of traders in Karachi on Monday, he said that we want to eradicate terrorism and extremism completely. He said the performance of rangers, Sindh police and chief secretary is fighting terrorism is laudable.

He said that the government comes in power for five years and this time passed quickly but now the government is trying to solve problems. He said we are fighting the issue of electricity shortage. He announced that next year the electricity tariff for Karachi industry would be reduced by Rs3 per unit.
