PSDP(Over Rs 34b released for development projects under PSDP)

Islamabad: The government has released over 34 billion rupees under its Public Sector Development Programme (PSDP) for various projects of social sector development against the total allocations of seven hundred billion Rupees for the current fiscal year.

According to the latest data of Ministry of Planning and Development, up to the end of first month of current financial year, 4.045 billion rupees have been released for various projects of Higher Education Commission.During the period, an amount of 2.997 billion rupees has been released for the various projects of Pakistan Atomic Energy Commission and 320 million Rupees for Interior Division. An amount of 1.285 million rupees has been released for Planning and Development Division and 11.593 billion for different projects of National Highway Authority.Rs 4bn have ebeen released for various projects of HEC. A sum of 9.369 billion rupees have been released for Prime Minister’s Youth Scheme as the government had allocated 20 billion Rupees for the current fiscal year.
