PTF to hold Pre-ITF Level 1 Play and Stay Coaches Workshop in January

Karachi: Pakistan Tennis Federation (PTF) is organizing four-day Pre-ITF Level 1 Play and Stay Coaches Workshop here at the National Coaching Centre from January 6 to 9.

Pakistan’s ITF level-3 Coach/Tutor, Kamran Khalil, Shahid Islam, Deputy Director (Academic PSB) and Nasrullah Rana, a qualified and renowned Physical Trainer, all from Islamabad, will be the resource persons. Selected guest speakers will also share their experience of modern coaching techniques with the students.

A course kit will be provided to each coach. First three days will be dedicated to the modern ITF’s Play and Stay Course and latest physical training tools. The fourth day is reserved for practical and written test. Those who pass will be given Green Badge and status of National Coach.

Selected School and College Physical Education Directors will also be allowed to attend the workshop and will get participation certificates.

PTF plans to hold two more such workshops at Lahore and Islamabad later in 2016 as part of its Coaches Education Program.
