Public servants should ensure discipline: CS

KARACHI: Chief Secretary Sindh Sajjad Saleem Hotiana said on Tuesday that there would be no compromise with violation of rules and regulations, thus public servants should ensure discipline in rendering their services to the entire satisfaction of government and people.

He said this while presiding over the meeting pertaining to hearing about the irregularities committed by the officers of education and health departments.

Two assistant professors of education department Mohammad Ashraf Dars and Ghulam Mustafa Soomro have been dismissed from the service as they had disobeyed their superordinator from relinquishing the double charge of their offices.

Dr Abdul Samad of health Department has been sent on compulsory retirement on ground of the unauthorized absence.

Meanwhile, Mirza Ishtiaq Baig, the Consul General of Morocco called on Chief Secretary Sindh Sajjad Saleem Hotiana and remained with him for some time. They discussed bilateral affairs during the meeting.
