QUETTA: Harmony can be promoted in society through higher education. Youth of Balochistan are talented and patriotic. It is our collective responsibility they should be equipped with modern knowledge and technology through joint efforts.

This was stated by Punjab Education Minister Rana Mashhood Ahmed while addressing 15-day training workshop of faculty members of Balochistan Universities to enhance their professional skill.

Workshop has been organized jointly by Inter University Consortium COMSATS Institute of Information Technology, National Testing Service Pakistan and Government of Balochistan.

Chairman Punjab Higher Education Commission Professor Dr Mohammad Nizamudidn, Rector COMSATS DR S M Junaid Zaidi, Chief Executive Officer NTS Dr Haroonur Rasheed and Workshop Coordinator Mohammad Murtaza Noor were also present.

Rana Mashhood Ali appreciated the joint efforts of Inter University Consortium, COMSATS and NTS and said owing to COMSATS unity with foreign organizations and Universities has been possible for promotion of higher education in Pakistan.
