(Punjab govt sets up Overseas Pakistanis Commission)

ISLAMABAD: Punjab government has set up an Oversees Pakistanis Commission to resolve the problems encountered by the Pakistani expatriates.

This was stated by Punjab Chief Minister Mohammad Shahbaz Sharif while talking to the Minister for Overseas Pakistanis Pir Syed Sadruddin Rashidi in Lahore on Thursday.

The Chief Minister said that the Commission has been awarded constitutional and legal status to make it effective in resolving problems of the overseas Pakistanis.

Meanwhile, US Counsel General in Lahore Zachary Harkenrider also called on Punjab Chief Minister Mohammad Shahbaz Sharif in Lahore today. They discussed matters of mutual interest.
