Karachi: Teenager Rabish Ahmed played a whirlwind 104-run knock off 50 balls and helped Karachi Blues U-19 Cricket Team record a formidable 121-run victory against Pakistan Disabled Cricket in a T-20 practice match during the Training Camp here on Wednesday at National Stadium.
Karachi U-19 batted first and scored 214-5 in allotted 20 overs. Opener Rabish Ahmed scored a brilliant century 104 in 50 balls with the help of 11 boundaries and six sixes. Left arm Spinner Ameer Ahmed took two wickets for 45 runs.
In reply, Pakistan Disabled Cricket Team scored only 93 runs losing nine of their wickets in 20 overs. All-rounder Abdullah Ejaz was the top scorer for the side scoring unbeaten 50 off 42 balls with the help of three fours and four sixes. Medium pacer Azizuddin captured three wickets for 14 runs.
Pakistan Disabled Cricket Team will be featuring in the inaugural Five-Nation ICRC International Cricket Tournament, which begins September 2 in Dhaka (Bangladesh). Apart from host Bangladesh and Pakistan, India, England and Afghanistan will also participate in the tournament.
