Rangers directed to check single-double cable vehicles

KARACHI: Director General Rangers Sindh Major General Rizwan Akhtar along with Rangers Special Investigation team on Sunday visited the place from where Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) workers had been lifted.

According to statement of Sindh Rangers, DG Rangers reviewed possible causes, ground realities and all other aspects of the case on the spot.

He said that Rangers team would meet missing persons’ families and eyewitness for conducting investigation more effective.

Akhtar instructed officials to check all single and double cabin vehicles in the city. He said that masked men and those displaying firearms would be arrested, while legal action would be taken against miscreants.
