Rangers release MQM leader Qamar Mansoor

KARACHI: Pakistan Rangers Sindh on Wednesday released Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) leader Qamar Mansoor after report submitted in Anti Terrorism Court by paramilitary force law officer.

According to the report the MQM leader Qamar Mansoor was released on humanitarian grounds and investigation against him will continue. He was released after completion of initial investigation against him.

Qamar Mansoor was arrested by paramilitary force from MQM headquarters, Nine Zero. He was later handed over to Rangers on a 90-day preventive detention by an ATC on July 22.
