Rape victim’s case registered against five accused

KARACHI: On the special directives by Coordinator to Chief Minister Sindh on Human Rights, Ms Nadia Gabol, Thatta police have registered a case of sexually assualted girl against accused and presented an investigation report to Human Rights Department Sindh.

In a statement on Wednesday, Ms Nadia directed Human Rights Director Mohammad Ishfaq to help innocent girl on fighting the case in court until she gets justice. She said the action would not be stopped against accused, who are ruining the dignity of women.

Nadia said that the case was registered against five accused including Mohammad Raheem, Nabi Bux, Ramzan, Javaid, and Munwar at Thatta police station.

Gabol said: “The victim girl, Amy, is the resident of Thatta and belongs to Hidu community, and was kidnapped a few years back by the accused. Then her religion was changed from Hindu to Muslim.”
